This action-packed Disney animated creation brings together the mismatched pair of Lilo, the sassy surfer girl, and Stitch, a pint-sized destructive ultimate fighting machine, for an adventure around the beautiful island of Hawaii.

Spunky orphan Lilo adopts a "dog" from the dog pound and names him Stitch. Stitch would be the perfect pet if he weren't a genetic experiment that escaped from an alien planet and crash-landed on earth. Through her faith and unwavering belief in "ohana" (the Hawaiian concept of family), Lilo helps unlock Stitch's heart and gives him the one thing he wasn't designed to have--the ability to love.

Disney's smash Hawaiin space adventure movie Lilo & Stitch is now a regular animated series on ABC Kids Saturdays.

Far, far away, on an alien planet, a rogue scientist named Jumba has created a bright blue creature called Experiment 626, through illegal genetic research. Experiment 626 loves destruction and chaos--that's what he's designed for. In fact, he's considered dangerous enough to be exiled to a deep space lockup. But 626 steals a spaceship and escapes, crashing in Hawaii, where he ends up in a dog pound. Experiment 626 is adopted by Lilo, a spunky young orphan, who renames her new pet "Stitch."

Stitch turns out to be quite a handful--his destructive impulses are in full gear as he trashes Lilo's house, among other naughty acts. Lilo is being raised by her older sister Nani (their parents died in an accident), and they are under surveillance by a wicked social worker, Cobra Bubbles, who wants to take Lilo away from Nani. Lilo must tame Stitch before he gives Cobra a reason to declare Nani's supervision inadequate. In the meantime, Jumba has followed Stitch to Earth to recapture him. But Stitch becomes steadily more thoughtful and well-behaved as he grows to love Lilo and becomes a part of her family. With Lilo's help he evades Jumba and everyone else seeking to recapture him.

Lilo has an exceptionally vivid imagination and it causes some of her biggest problems. When he's not misbehaving, Stitch, a/k/a Experimate 626, is there to help her out. Unfortunately, Stitch sometimes has difficulty knowing the difference between good and bad. That's when Lilo has to help Stitch out.

Jumba, the renegade scientist who created Stitch and 625 other experiments is now on Earth and free to continue his evil genius experimenting. His experiments prove to be beyond even his control.

It's tough being little, especially when you are an alien experimental genetically designed military weapon on Earth! With the help of Lilo, our friendly alien Stitch works to find a suitable home for his fellow experiments whenever mad scientist Jumba activates one. Each experiment needs a home, and it's Lilo & Stitch's job to figure out where that will be!

Captain Gantu has his own mission: to capture all of Jumba's experiments for the evil Dr. Hamsterviel. Lilo & Stitch plan to find them first and get them to good homes!

Of Jumba's other experiments, Experiment 625 is the most like Stitch. Experiment 625 has all the powers that Stitch has with one exception: he's lazy! If you need to find him, just follow the trail of sandwiches. Some of the other experiments, such as 007 "Gigi", even look like dogs (and Gigi never stops yapping like a dog). Hamsterviel needs to capture all of Jumba's escaped experiments. You can always find him verbally abusing Captain Gantu when an attempt to capture an experiment has yet again failed. Hamsterviel financed all of Jumba's experiments and wants them all in his control.
